Qogita Review 2026: Is It Legit? I Flew to Amsterdam to Find Out
A seller I know lost £4,000 to a European wholesaler he found online. So before I keep recommending Qogita to my own community, I went to their office, met the team and asked the questions you would want answered before you spend a penny.
The short version: Qogita is a real company with a real office, a vetting process for every supplier, written buyer protections and a thin margin model that explains the €100 first order credit. It is not a magic wand for Amazon ungating and it does not do change of mind returns. If you sell branded beauty, fragrance, personal care or health products on Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop or your own store, it is worth an account. Use code SU100 when you register and your first order gets the credit.
Why I made this video
One of the biggest reasons people fail at Amazon FBA is not the competition and it is not bad products. It is suppliers. New sellers send thousands of pounds to people they have never met, and the stock never turns up.
The seller in the video found what looked like a great deal. Solid margins, fast delivery, a contact who spoke his language and made him feel like he had an inside connection. The website was clean, there were product photos, and the company number and VAT number both checked out. The minute he paid, silence. Nothing. He was ghosted, and £4,000 for a beginner can be the end of the journey.
One of the biggest reasons people fail at Amazon FBA isn't the competition. It's not even bad products, it's suppliers.
Suhail, from the videoA lot of people I trust kept mentioning Qogita. I do not take anyone's word for that, so I booked a flight to the Netherlands and held them to the same standard I use for any supplier.
The five checks I run on every wholesale supplier
These apply whether you are buying from Qogita, a UK distributor or someone who messaged you on LinkedIn.
- The identities match. Company name, VAT number and incorporation number all line up, and the address on Google Maps is a real premises, not a mailbox.
- The payment details match the company. The bank account is in the company's name, not a personal account, and not a Wise or PayPal request. Put a small test order in first.
- Live verification. Speak to someone face to face. For a big order, insist on a live video call from inside the warehouse where you can see the goods, not a pre recorded clip.
- References. Have they supplied UK companies before? Ask around. My Discord community has over a thousand sellers in it and someone has usually ordered from any supplier you are looking at.
- Logistics in writing. DDP or EXW, is shipping included, has duty been paid, is the shipment insured. If they cannot answer clearly, walk away.
The seller who lost £4,000 would have been stopped at check two.
What I found in Amsterdam
Qogita is a wholesale marketplace rather than a single wholesaler. Hundreds of vetted wholesalers, distributors and brands list on it, you buy through one checkout, and Qogita handles the admin, the logistics and any claims. The company was founded in London in 2021 and the Amsterdam office is where the growth, logistics, tech and support teams sit. I sat down with Charlie, who runs buyer growth, and here is what came out of it.
Bulk discounts and preorders
Enterprise buyers use the same website as everyone else, just with a managed account. Bulk discounts were new at the time of filming and open to every buyer. There are also preorders with longer lead times, roughly two to six weeks, with higher minimums and price reductions Charlie put at around 20%, typically when ordering directly from a brand.
Pallets instead of boxes
My larger orders now arrive on a pallet rather than as ten separate boxes. That matters more than it sounds. Liquids, lotions and fragile beauty items get damaged far less often on a pallet, especially when they are heading straight into an Amazon fulfilment centre.
How Qogita vets a supplier
Charlie described a five step onboarding process for every supplier:
- Due diligence on the company itself: financial history, key stakeholders, turnover, registration and whether the information is legitimate.
- Photos of the warehouse and operations.
- Identification of the key people behind it.
- Evidence of an established business that has been trading for years with no history of anything untoward.
- Site visits by Qogita's supply team as a second check.
Half of the company works on the supply side doing exactly this. All of the suppliers are based in the UK or Europe, which is deliberate: UK and EU company and VAT registration systems are rigid and similar, so vetting stays tight. It is the same work I do myself in the five checks above, except Qogita has done it before the supplier ever reaches you.
What protects you as a buyer
Qogita's stated protections are an authenticity money back guarantee, shipping protection if goods are damaged in transit, a claims process with a full refund when you provide the evidence, and chain of supply documents that you can submit if a marketplace asks where your stock came from. The claims side is the one I have used most. Random damaged units happen with any wholesaler. On Qogita you photograph the product and the barcode, submit the claim, and I have been refunded every time.
I think a lot of other suppliers would just leave buyers to their fate. They don't care.
Charlie, QogitaHow can they afford €100 off your first order? What's the catch?
This was the question I most wanted answered, because free money always has a reason behind it. Charlie's explanation was refreshingly plain. Companies grow in three ways: virally, through sticky retention where new customers outpace the ones who leave, or by paying to acquire customers. Paid growth only works if what a customer spends over time is worth more than it cost to bring them in.
Qogita has a very thin take rate. It passes on the wholesaler's price and adds a small markup for the service, so the business lives or dies on transaction volume. The €100 is simply the cost of acquiring a buyer. It pays for itself if you stick around and keep ordering, and it continues for as long as that maths holds. So the catch is just that they expect you to be a real buyer, not a one off.
How much we pay to acquire customers is less than how much the customers bring back.
Charlie, QogitaInvoices, ungating and authenticity: the honest answer
This is where most of the Qogita debate online comes from, so let me be precise. Amazon is strict on ungating and on authenticity complaints, and nobody can promise you an approval. What Qogita does is give you an invoice with every order and, from suppliers who opt in, a marketplace invoice and a letter showing the chain of supply. Qogita says its invoice documentation is designed to line up with what Amazon asks for and that acceptance rates have improved over the past year. In my experience that is true, and it is still Amazon's decision every time.
Two things from my own community. One of my students had a Section 3 deactivation on a product bought from Qogita. He put together a solid first submission with the Qogita invoice and the marketplace invoice, explained plainly what he was doing, and the account was reinstated. That is one case, not a rule. The rule I give everyone is this: make your first submission as solid as you possibly can, because that is the one Amazon reads most carefully.
Charlie's advice for new sellers was to pick brands that are realistic to get approved in, and to order small until you are ungated rather than spending big on stock you cannot list. If an application is rejected, ask Amazon for the specific reason first, then take that to Qogita support, because they will help where they can. I have written a full page on this: Qogita invoices and Amazon ungating.
My verdict
Is Qogita legit? Yes. It is a venture backed company with offices in London and Amsterdam, a supply team that visits its wholesalers, and written protections for buyers. I have placed well over fifty orders through it for my own Amazon business and my staff put orders in without me thinking about it, which is not something I can say about distributors who still send a spreadsheet once a week.
Is it right for everyone? No. The catalogue is strongest in beauty, fragrance, personal care and health, so if you sell in other categories you will find less. Every supplier sets its own minimum order value, often a few hundred pounds, and there are no change of mind returns because Qogita cannot coordinate that across hundreds of wholesalers. Not every brand on the platform can be sold on Amazon either. Brand restrictions, exclusive distribution and Amazon's own presence on a listing all still apply, so you research the product and the brand before you buy, the same as with any supplier.
Who it suits
- New Amazon FBA sellers who want branded stock from vetted suppliers without a £8,000 minimum order.
- Arbitrage and reselling sellers who want a more reliable source than retail stores.
- eBay, TikTok Shop and Shopify sellers who want genuine branded products at wholesale cost.
- Pharmacies, salons and shops that already sell health, beauty and personal care lines and want to compare prices against their current wholesaler.
If you want to try it, register with code SU100 and your first order gets the credit. And if you are new to all of this, start small, check your numbers in a proper analysis tool, and ask in our free Discord before you buy into a brand you do not know.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Qogita legit or a scam?
Qogita is a legitimate business founded in London in 2021, with an office in Amsterdam, hundreds of vetted suppliers and venture capital backing. I have placed over fifty orders myself and visited the office in person. It is a marketplace, so you are buying from vetted wholesalers through Qogita rather than from Qogita's own stock.
How can I tell if a wholesale supplier is genuine before I pay?
Check that the company name, VAT number and company number match and that the address is a real premises. Make sure the bank account is in the company's name and never pay through Wise or PayPal. Ask for a live video call from the warehouse, ask for references from UK buyers, get the shipping terms in writing, and place a small test order first.
How does Qogita vet its suppliers?
Qogita describes a five step process: due diligence on the company's finances, ownership and registration, photos of the warehouse and operations, identification of the key people, evidence of an established trading history, and site visits by its supply team. All suppliers are based in the UK or Europe.
What protection do I have if a Qogita order is damaged, lost or not authentic?
Qogita's stated protections are an authenticity money back guarantee, shipping protection for transit damage, and a claims process that refunds in full when you submit the evidence, usually photos of the product and barcode. Qogita does not offer change of mind returns.
Why does Qogita give €100 off a first order?
It is the cost of acquiring a new buyer. Qogita runs on a thin margin over wholesaler prices, so it earns the credit back if you keep ordering. The code is entered at registration in the Sign Up Code box, or under Promotions in your account before your first order, and it is for new accounts only.
Can a Qogita invoice help with Amazon ungating or an authenticity complaint?
Qogita provides an invoice for every order and, from suppliers who opt in, a marketplace invoice showing the chain of supply. Qogita says this documentation is designed to align with Amazon's requirements and that acceptance has improved, but approval is always Amazon's decision. Make your first submission thorough, and if it is rejected ask Amazon for the reason before contacting Qogita support.
Does Qogita offer bulk discounts or preorder pricing?
Yes. Bulk discounts are available to all buyers, and preorders with lead times of roughly two to six weeks come with higher minimums and lower prices, which Qogita put at around 20% at the time of filming, usually when buying directly from a brand.
Do larger Qogita orders arrive on pallets?
They can. My larger orders now arrive palletised rather than as separate boxes, which cuts damage on liquids and fragile beauty products. Smaller orders still come as boxes, shipped directly from the supplier.
