How to Get Started With Qogita for Amazon FBA Wholesale (and Get £100 Off Your First Order)

Qogita is the wholesale platform I wish had existed when I started selling on Amazon. This is the lesson I give my own students on day one: how to set up the account properly, the two settings every Amazon seller should switch on, how to find products that actually make money, and the mistakes to avoid on your first order.

The short version

Register with your company details (no VAT number needed), enter code SU100 in the Sign Up Code box so £100 comes off your first order, set your shopping preference to the UK and Europe, tick the marketplace invoices filter, then find products by scanning the catalogue in your analysis tool rather than browsing. Every supplier has a minimum order value, prices and stock move constantly, and you should research a brand before you buy it.

The video was recorded in December 2024 and Qogita has redesigned the website since, so a button or two may have moved. The steps have not changed, and I have added what I have learned from a couple of years of ordering.

What Qogita is, in one paragraph

Qogita is a wholesale marketplace for branded products. Hundreds of vetted wholesalers, distributors and brands in the UK and Europe list their stock, and you buy through a single checkout. The catalogue is strongest in beauty: fragrance, skincare, haircare, makeup and bath, with health and personal care growing. When you buy from EU suppliers there are no import duties and shipping is included in the price, which is what makes a European catalogue usable for a UK Amazon seller. Import VAT still applies as with any import. I have written a full Qogita review if you want the background first.

1

Create your account

Qogita is business to business, so registration asks for your company details and your company number. When you get to the VAT number field, leave it blank if you are not VAT registered. You do not need a VAT number to get started, and you can add one later. Use your real trading name and address, the same ones that are on your Amazon account, because the invoices Qogita produces will carry whatever you enter here and they need to match if you ever submit one to Amazon.

2

Enter code SU100 for £100 off your first order

Registration has a Sign Up Code box. Type SU100 and the credit is added to your account as a promotions balance, which is deducted from your first order. If you have already registered and missed it, go to Promotions in your account and enter the code there before you place your first order. It only works on new accounts and only on the first order, so do not waste it on a tiny test. Place a proper first order you have already run the numbers on and let the credit come off that.

3

Switch on the two settings that matter

Shopping preference: UK and Europe

By default you may only see UK suppliers. Go into your settings and switch the shopping preference so you can buy from the UK and Europe. There are no import duties and shipping is included either way, so the only difference is that EU deliveries take a little longer, and the extra selection is more than worth it. The two things to watch with EU stock are packaging language and plugs on anything electrical.

Marketplace invoices available

Tick this box. It filters the catalogue to suppliers who have agreed to provide a marketplace invoice and chain of supply letter on request, which is the documentation you may need if Amazon asks where your stock came from, whether for brand approval or an authenticity case. Qogita says the documentation is designed to align with Amazon's requirements, and acceptance is always Amazon's decision. This matters most for new sellers who have no track record yet, so I would rather you only buy from suppliers who offer it. I have written a full page on Qogita invoices and ungating.

4

Find products that make money

Finding a profitable product on Qogita by browsing is like finding a needle in a haystack, because there is so much on there. Three ways that work:

  • Free leads. I post as many profitable Qogita products as I can in the free leads section of our Discord, the Sourcing Circle. It is free to join and my students get the full list.
  • Scan the catalogue. Filter by category or brand with the marketplace invoices filter on, download the catalogue as a CSV and run it through your analysis tool. This is the fastest way to work through thousands of lines, with one blind spot: a scan will not catch bundles and two packs, because the barcode on Qogita is the single unit and the money is sometimes in the multipack listing on Amazon.
  • Check by barcode. When you are looking at a product page, search the barcode or the title in your analysis tool to see the Amazon listing, the price history and the competition before you add it to the basket.

Whichever way you find a product, the picture on Qogita is for reference only. Go by the barcode and the listed quantity, and never assume you are getting a bundle unless it is clearly a manufactured multipack.

5

Build a basket that clears the minimum

Every supplier on Qogita sets its own minimum order value. Some are a few hundred pounds, some are much higher. When you add a product to your basket, the cart shows you which lines are ready to check out and which supplier minimums you have not reached yet. If one supplier's minimum is high and you only want one product from them, do not spend hundreds on a single line just to hit the number. Go into that supplier's inventory instead and see what else they sell, because there is usually a second or third product that works. If there is not, leave it and move on.

6

Set price alerts on the near misses

Qogita prices are always moving and stock is always going in and out. A product that is a few percent short of your margin today can be a winner next month. So when you find a product that is slightly outside your criteria, save it to your watch list with a target price and target stock level, and let the platform tell you when it gets there. The sellers who do well on Qogita are the ones who keep on top of it rather than checking once and forgetting.

7

Research the brand before you buy

Do your analysis properly. If you are unsure about a brand, ask in the Discord whether anyone has sold it before, because someone usually has. Not every brand on Qogita can be sold on Amazon: some have brand restrictions, some have exclusive distribution agreements, and on some listings Amazon itself is the seller. Check for restrictions in Seller Central before you order, and order small until you are approved.

My personal rule, from my own experience rather than a rule about the products: on Amazon I avoid Asian beauty brands and Arabian perfumes, because they have caused me issues with listings and approvals. Both are growing categories on TikTok Shop, so that is an Amazon decision, not a verdict on the brands. If you are new, be very careful with anything you cannot verify.

After your first order

  • Delivery. Goods ship directly from the supplier, so a basket with three suppliers arrives as three deliveries. Larger orders can arrive on a pallet.
  • Damaged, short or wrong items. Photograph the product and the barcode and submit a claim. Qogita refunds against the evidence. There are no change of mind returns, so only order what you have checked.
  • Invoices. Your order invoice is in your account. If you need the marketplace invoice and chain of supply letter for Amazon, request it from the order and say why.
  • Support. The chatbot is the first stop. Say you need to speak to a human and the in house team picks it up, usually the same day or within 24 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a VAT number to register on Qogita?

No. Registration asks for your company details and company number, and the VAT number field can be left blank. You can add a VAT number later once you are registered.

How does the Qogita SU100 code work?

Enter SU100 in the Sign Up Code box when you register, or under Promotions in your account before your first order. The credit is added to your promotions balance and deducted from your first order. It is for new accounts only.

Should I buy from EU suppliers on Qogita as well as UK ones?

Yes. Switch your shopping preference to the UK and Europe. There are no import duties and shipping is included on EU orders, delivery just takes a little longer. Import VAT applies as on any import. Watch for foreign language packaging and European plugs on electrical items.

What does the marketplace invoices setting do?

It limits your search to suppliers who provide a marketplace invoice and chain of supply letter on request, which is the documentation you can submit if Amazon asks for a supplier invoice. Qogita says the documentation is designed to align with Amazon's requirements; acceptance is always Amazon's decision.

How do I find profitable products on Qogita?

Use the free leads posted in the Seller University Discord, or filter the catalogue and download it as a CSV to scan in your analysis tool, then check promising products by barcode. Scans miss bundles and multipacks, so check those by hand.

What is a minimum order value on Qogita?

Each supplier sets its own minimum order value. The cart shows which lines are ready to check out. If a minimum is too high for one product, browse that supplier's inventory for other products rather than overspending on a single line.

Can I set price alerts on Qogita?

Yes. Save a product to your watch list with a target price and target stock level and Qogita will flag it when the targets are met. Prices and stock change constantly, so this is how you catch near misses.

Which brands should new sellers be careful with on Qogita?

Any brand you cannot verify is sellable on Amazon. Check for brand restrictions and exclusive distribution before you order, ask in the Discord whether anyone has sold it, and order small until you are approved. In my own experience, Asian beauty brands and Arabian perfumes have caused issues on Amazon, so I avoid them there.
